This employee works relatively independently and is expected to make primary decisions based on sounds assessment in accordance with The Public Health Act, both regional and PHN specific policy and procedures, the SRNA Standards of Practice, the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Nurses, the Community Health Nurses of Canada
– Standards of Practice, and PHN Discipline Specific Competencies.

Inherent in this role knowledge, skills, and abilities specific to health promotions, prevention, and protection.

This employee lyases with, and refers to, other health personnel, and other sectors and community groups.

Job Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Nursing Basic Life Support (BLS) Valid Class 5 driver’s license Current registration in good standing with Saskatchewan Registered Nursing Association (SRNA) Additional Information The successful candidate is responsible to obtain and provide an original Criminal Record Check (CRC) & Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) from their local police service, RCMP or previous country/countries of residence that is dated within the past six (6) months that is satisfactory to the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Internal candidates may be required to provide a CRC & VSC during recruitment and selection process.
