Hamilton Health Sciences

This is a Part-time position in Fort Mcmurray, AB posted May 6, 2021.

Under the supervision of a Psychologist, the Psychometrist will be responsible for conducting evidence-based psychological assessments of children and youth between the ages of 2 and 17 with neurodevelopmental disabilities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, and/or emotional/behavioural challenges.

Other duties may include supporting clinical consultations, staff training, clinical research, and program evaluation activities.

Masters level degree in Psychology or related area 2.

Extensive training and experience in conducting assessments with children and youth, using a variety of measures and techniques 3.

Extensive understanding of typical and atypical child development 4.

Demonstrated excellent organizational and time management skills 5.

Advanced oral and written communication skills 6.

Demonstrated competency in computer usage (experience with telehealth psychological assessments would be an asset) 7.

Actively supports and promotes healthy team functioning 8.

Willingness to participate in a criminal reference screening process 9.

Fluency in French will be considered an asset 10.
