To learn more about CIBC, please visit Job Description What You’ll Be Doing The role of the Senior Manager, Premium Edge is to provide leadership for a team of relationship managers and investment representatives for CIBC Investor’s Edge high value offering.

The senior manager inspires the team to deliver strong sales results while focusing on a great client experience.

A collaborative management style allows the senior manager to draw on the creativity of the team.

Strategic thinking is necessary to develop a strong business plan, and the realization of results.

The emphasis is to achieve asset growth and increase market share in the high value segment within the self-directed brokerage space.

How You’ll Succeed People Leadership and Sales Expertise
– Leads a team of Investment Representatives and Relationship Managers within a Contact Centre environment with a strong focus on team results.

Challenges team to exceed current levels of performance and re-think the way they do business.

Ability to provide ongoing learning and coaching for the continuous improvement of the team.

Appropriately coaching team on achieving sales targets by applying your sales tactics, or expertise.

Client focus
– Build a culture of collaboration across multiple client offers
– so that clients are served by those best able to meet their financial goals.

Creating and developing opportunities to further organizational/business objectives to improve overall business performance.

Identify service improvements and remain current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

Collaborate with product and marketing team on all sales campaigns, client offers and client events.

Relationship Management
– Excellent relationship building skills to establish strong key relationships with clients, employees, peers, partners, leadership teams and business owners.

Assist with retention and growth of Premium Edge client base, as well as taking an active role in building strong relationships with High Value clients.

Participate in sales meetings, seminars, training sessions and presentations to both internal and external channels.

You will support and mentor team members through knowledge sharing, collaboration and knowledge sharing.

You are bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese.

You are a certified professional Being IIROC licensed or ability to be licensed is a must (CSC & CPH).

Options and Derivatives and the Branch Manager course are preferred.

You can demonstrate strong experiences in Sales and Relationship Management.

You have intimate knowledge of the markets, including current conditions and trends in the Canadian and U.S.

stock and bond markets.
